About MISS NELLY

My professional journey began upon graduation from The University of Queensland with a Bachelor Degree in Education (Human Movement Studies) and Applied Science in the 1990s providing eligibility to be a Board registered teacher in Queensland which is still current today! My cultural curiosity and wanderlust led me to complete a RSA CELTA qualification, become  a cross-cultural specialist and teach English across 11 countries whilst

integrating my passion for wellbeing into classrooms of the world. This theme later developed into more formal studies in wellbeing which continue today consolidating my own unique holistic approach to education, career guidance and life in general breathing heart and soul into the classroom of life.  As a fully qualified VET trainer, I have also been involved in work readiness training for school-age students and adult jobseekers internationally. Pandemic studies led to postgraduate qualifications in Career Guidance & Counselling so now that the world has reopened, I am practising what I preach and living my best life exploring all opportunities to support students of all ages on their journey to do the same!
